To accomplish its mission it is the belief of the ZAA that the long-term growth of the Aikido arts is reliant upon consistent and quality professional instruction which must be instituted and maintained. The ZAA’s instructional program is instituted and maintained by the Chairman and Chief Instructor Greg Noble Sensei under the teaching methodology of the late Fumio Toyoda Shihan and Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba.
To ensure that its mission is achieved, the ZAA offers an organized method of instruction specifically oriented toward quality instruction of the ZAA philosophy which is further promulgated through clinics, camps, seminars and its National Instructors Seminar – held annually in West Virginia. Additionally, the ZAA offers instructor certification at various levels, continuing education opportunities for its instructors, and instruction manuals.
